OUR STORY
Vertex Structures is a concrete subcontractor based in Fort Lauderdale that handles tilt-up construction, structural concrete, post-tension decks, and flatwork for projects across South Florida. We work with general contractors, developers, and owners on jobs ranging from 10,000 SF retail pads in Boca Raton to 500,000 SF distribution centers west of Miami. Our crews operate throughout Broward County, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach — from the urban corridors along I-95 to the industrial parks lining the Turnpike.
Every Vertex crew member completes a site-specific safety orientation and weekly toolbox talks before stepping on a slab. Our field superintendents coordinate directly with structural engineers and GCs to resolve embed, blockout, and reinforcement conflicts before concrete is placed — not after. That front-end coordination, combined with in-house forming and finishing crews, lets us control scope from layout to strip without relying on a chain of third-party subs.

We test every mix design against ACI 318 requirements and project-specific specs before the first truck rolls. Our finishers check slab flatness with F-number readings, and our forming crews verify tolerances at every stage — because a callback on a 200-yard pour is not an option.

Our bids break out every line item — forming, rebar, concrete, finishing, and pump costs — so there are no surprises at the pay application stage. When site conditions change, we document the impact and present options with real numbers, not vague change orders.
Safety
Vertex maintains an EMR below 1.0 and runs OSHA 10/30 certification for all field personnel. Every job site starts the day with a toolbox talk, and our safety officer conducts weekly walk-throughs. We track near-misses the same way we track incidents — because prevention is cheaper than correction.
INDUSTRIES WE SERVE
Commercial
Structural concrete foundations, elevated slabs, and cast-in-place cores for office buildings, retail centers, and mixed-use developments. We also handle flatwork for parking structures, sidewalks, and loading areas — coordinating embed placement with MEP trades so nothing gets missed before the pour.
Residential
Post-tension deck systems for high-rise towers and mid-rise condos along the South Florida coast, plus structural concrete foundations and grade beams for townhome communities inland. Our crews handle PT stressing, grouting, and slab-on-grade finishing to keep multi-phase housing schedules moving without gaps.
Warehouse
Tilt-up panel casting and erection, insulated sandwich panels, and wire-reinforced or fiber-dosed slab-on-grade floors laser-screeded to tight FF/FL tolerances. We build for clear heights up to 40 feet and incorporate dock-height loading pads, truck courts, and reinforced aprons as part of the concrete package.
Distribution
Heavy-duty floor systems engineered for racking loads, forklift traffic, and 24/7 operations in fulfillment hubs and logistics centers. We pour and finish large-bay floors with laser screeds, install dock bays with recessed pits, and run fast-track schedules that let owners take occupancy in phases.
